Job Description:

Qualifications:

  • Experienced designing roll form tooling.
  • Experienced engineer to tool maker with experience in designing stamp dies.
  • Forming rolls for all materials, for pre-cut and cut to length shapes as well as pre-punched parts and must be thoroughly knowledgeable in regards to the requirements of designing roll tooling for pre-punched material.
  • Prenotch tooling including flying as well as stationary tooling which may include gagged features for irregular hole patterns.
  • Flying cutoff tooling which will include shear (crop) type slug-less dies and blade type cutoff dies which may feature internal facility for part pickup.
  • Cutoff tooling may also be post-punch dies in which punched features are produced by the cutoff die.
  • Flying pickup devices to engage strip features imparted by the prenotch.
  • Secondary dies for post rolling operations.
  • Progressive stamping dies to produce parts ancillary to the rolled product.
